Work With Me

My Philosophy

  • Change should never come from fear, shame, or obligation, but rather from empowerment and a genuine desire for growth.
  • Cultivating a joyful and healthy relationship with food, movement, and your body is a prerequisite for making lasting change and is NOT the result of it.
  • A healthful and sustainable lifestyle should not require a tremendous amount of effort, willpower and self-control. Life is multifaceted and food is just one small part of it, so it ultimately should not take up all of your attention. It is my goal to help clients work towards achieving a balance with eating that feels automatic so that they have room to focus on the aspects of life that provide meaning and happiness.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Absolutely not! I support clients with a variety of lifestyle patterns. You will never be pressured to adopt a vegan or vegetarian diet if that is not your goal. That said, I do have a plant-predominant approach for diabetes care specifically and most of my resources and culinary solutions are plant-focused as this is where my expertise lies.

Veganism at its core is not a “diet”, though it can be used as such in the same way that going for regular bike rides can fall into the domain of toxic fitness culture. While it is true that many plant-based health practitioners and influencers do use the promise of thinness as a selling point for the lifestyle, veganism ultimately is an ethical values system that is outside of diet culture. For many it can be an avenue to introduce more kindness and compassion into daily life. It is the individual mindset, motivation, and approach that dictates whether a vegan diet is a vehicle for restriction or for liberation.

Yes! I do offer sliding scale pricing for those who need it.

While I do welcome clients who have a weight loss goal and some may experience weight loss as a result of the coaching process, I provide a weight-neutral approach that prioritizes cultivating a joyful relationship with food, movement and your body so that you feel your best inside and out!
